KONZENTRAT 08

Together with Nora-Marie Bayer, I made the print materials for this years exhibition at HAW HAMBURG, named Konzentrat 08.
The posters and flyers are printed in pantone, a thing I’ve been wanting try for a long time, and it turned out very nice!
The last photo is from the Hamburg U-Bahn, some people
have been playing around with the logotype and created 14 short animations that were running in the subway in the week up to the exhibition.
My favorite clip was made by my friend Lorin Strohm, take a look at the nice stopmotion action here.
The rest of the animations can be viewed here.
More Dynamite

Here is an update on the Dynamite font.
I made the poster on top for the school summer exhibition, showing Dynamite Highlight in several sizes and turned so that it’s sloped downward. It features one of my favorite Daft Punk lyrics.
Like you see I have also cut eight wood letters of Dynamite Bold.
Im not sure about the exact point size but it’s somewhere around 120-140 pt. It was made on an almost 100 year old woodpantograf at Museum der Arbeit in Hamburg.
I really enjoyed this and you really feel in contact with your font, while working with this kind of machinery. All was made with
the help of Daniel Janssen and my professor Jovica Veljovic.
Dynamite!

Fresh from Hamburg is my new font Dynamite.
As you see, it is rounded with a slant to the left. It has a bit resemblance Frankfuter, which is one of my favorite fonts.
So far I have 3 weights finished, medium, bold and highlight. There will be an additional weight or two, added soon.
I’ve really enjoyed working on it so far, and look forward to use it in upcoming projects.

Peterhelles.dk

Peter Helles is a very talented upcoming photo journalist and a good friend of mine. I really enjoy his photos, that are very intense and personal.
I have just finished the redesign of his homepage. I wanted the photos to speak for themselves, and went with a minimalistic interface with easy navigation possibilities.
